A Nose For Adventure

Norbert, everyone's favorite alien from Jupiter, is back!

Alan is off to New York, where his father will meet him for some "quality" time together. There are some snags, though. First, his father isn't at the airport. Then there's his cranky seatmate, Frieda, who is almost kidnapped. Sally, an abandoned mutt, joins the scene, and finally, Norbert is back. He is an alien from Jupiter who had previously taken up residence in Alan's nose, while on a fact-finding mission to Earth. Alan had been, to say the least, an unwilling host to Norbert, but when you're lost in New York City being chased by bad guys, you need all the help you can get!

"Alan Dingwall, 13, has an alien from Jupiter living in his nose. As unlikely as that may sound, it is the basis of a very funny, very good novel. . ." - Globe & Mail

“Never a dull moment!” Vancouver Sun

“Among the best in chapter books this year… This is laugh-out-loud funny…”Sunday Daily News

“wonderful”Edmonton Journal

“…funny and action-packed. Readers will laugh at Norbert’s outrageous, but somehow always bang-on pronouncements, and sympathize with Alan’s anguish as he’s caught between wanting to be independent and cool and feeling hopelessly out of his league in the hip big city.”Halifax Chronicle Herald
